I said YES!

Nope, it's definitely not what most of you have in mind! I said YES to myself today.
Let me explain: I surrendered, no more dilly-dallying, no more self-doubt, no more limiting beliefs, ending all the unnecessary sufferings (totally self-inflicted!) which have been draining my energy, took a stand for myself....well, after 15 years of tenure, I have decided to put my corporate job behind me and the crazy rat race to a stop for myself. From now on, I will be focusing on what matters most - a deep connection with myself, my loved ones, like-minded communities and this precious life. I have chosen to step outside of my comfort zone, letting go of all familiarity to pursue the unknown. YES, I am taking that leap of faith and totally super-charged with excitement!
It wasn't exactly the easiest decision...after all, I have been contemplating about this for years. Not until recently that I started to connect the dots over several events that have taken place in my life. If I observed closely, the signs and leads were everywhere! To me, it feels like the Universe is saying: Hey girl, no worries, I've got your back! The path was there all along, I was already treading the path with every action I took and each small decision I made....and now it is revealing itself to me because the timing is right! It feels right. Amazingly, I feel really comfortable, not even that huge relief as what I would have anticipated, but just calm, soothing and well-assessed outcome, with the fear kept at bay, at least for now. I know it will come for a visit from time to time but I have learned how to deconstruct the fear. What helps simply in this case is the acronym of F.E.A.R reminding me of 'false evidence appearing real'. The deconstruction of our fear certainly warrants a separate deep-dive session altogether!
Indecision itself was a decision that I have repeatedly made and gosh, I have to admit how stuck I have been in this indecisive loop. It took such a steep effort of self-reflection to see clearly my worth, my values and realize what my full potential could be. It is true that 80% of our desired success in life has to do with changing our mindset while the remaining 20% count on the strategies we apply. The clarity does require consciousness practice which is the ultimate power and hidden gem we all have from within ourselves - and the courage to face our ego.
Now, what about you?
Have you been going back and forth on making that one decision that you know will change your life, even a little?
How have you been justifying your decision to keep staying at where you are? In other words, what are the inner conversations you have been having with yourself?
What is stopping you from deciding and taking that leap of faith?
How does it make you feel about not making that decision?
How does it honor you and do you want to keep feeling this way?
By thoroughly working through these questions, you might just come to the point of saying YES to yourself too! I can't wait to hear what you have to share. If you are like me, the best time to decide was probably x number of years ago, but the next best time to make that decision is NOW. So, what's your decision?
